BROWSING REHAB
A judgment-free space. That's a lie. It's entirely judgment. You're here because you look and never buy, and we've decided that's a condition. Sit down.
Admit it.
Out loud, where someone can hear you: “I opened a store to look at things I have no intention of buying.” Good. That was the hardest part. It only gets more insulting from here.
Name your triggers.
Yours are: being awake. Owning a browser. Existing within a hundred feet of a sale. There is no avoiding these. You are, technically, always relapsing.
Make amends.
To the cart. It's still there. It waited. It watched you leave, come back, look at the same shirt, and leave again. It's not angry. It's used to it. That's worse.
There is no step four.
Step four is checkout. It was always checkout. Every step above was a nicer way of saying the one thing you already knew. Recovery is a shirt with your card details attached to it.
BEGIN RECOVERY(that button goes to the store. you knew that too.)
